Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 15, 2026 • Effective Date: January 1, 2024
🔒 Our Core Privacy Commitment
At FreeToolsKit (accessible from https://freetoolskit.dev), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. Our utilities—including image compressors, PDF converters, formatters, and generators—operate 100% client-side inside your web browser. Your files, images, documents, and inputs are never uploaded to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
Because FreeToolsKit is a free, browser-based utility suite with no user registration or accounts, we do not require or collect your name, physical address, or payment details.
Like standard websites, we collect standard automated log file information when you access our site:
- Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
- Browser type and version
- Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Date and time stamp of requests
- Referring/exit pages
- Number of clicks and page navigation flows
Log file data is not linked to any information that is personally identifiable and is used solely for website administration, server health diagnostics, and detecting malicious traffic.
2. In-Browser Client-Side Processing
All tool operations (such as converting images, compressing PDFs, formatting code, hashing strings, or generating passwords) are executed locally on your machine using client-side JavaScript, HTML5 APIs, and WebAssembly.
Your files and data remain in your browser's sandboxed memory and are automatically purged when you close the tab or clear your browser cache. We have zero access to your file contents or generated results.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
FreeToolsKit uses standard cookies to store information including visitors' preferences (such as dark/light theme mode) and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. Detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers' respective websites.
4. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising
Google is an approved third-party advertising vendor on FreeToolsKit. Google uses cookies, commonly known as advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie), to serve advertisements to visitors on our site based upon their visit to freetoolskit.dev and other sites across the Internet.
How to Opt Out of Personalized Advertising:
- Visitors may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the AboutAds Choices Page (www.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Page.
Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on FreeToolsKit. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. FreeToolsKit has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate website traffic and performance metrics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data such as session duration, bounce rates, and popular tool pages. You can prevent Google Analytics from tracking your activity across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. CCPA / CPRA Privacy Rights (California Residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and CPRA, California consumers have the right to:
- Request that a business disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that it has collected.
- Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.

We do not sell personal information. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
